While planning a trip to Savanah, I wanted to do a walking tour with the family. I took a chance and purchased this app. It was exactly what I was looking for! The whole family had some hair raising moments as night approached during our tour. We had heard Savanah was haunted, and now we believe it! We look forward to doing wicked walks in other cities! Thanks for a great app.
The app worked great and were glad we had it. Much better to walk and take whatever time we wanted. We saw the ghost tour trolleys would just drive right by the places as the driver talked...looked boring compared to this app. Thanks, well be getting the Charleston one too.
The app is easy to navigate and provided enough information about each place to be entertaining and the map function was very helpful. However Im a little disappointed that the Kehoe house is a myth and was debunked by an operator at the house when we visited there. The house is actually an 5 star bed and breakfast now and there is a lot of cool things to learn about the house but being haunted isnt one of them. Also some information in the Colonial Park Cemetery is not accurate regarding the placement of the headstone that was tampered with. It is actually on the opposite side of the cemetery where the app tells it is. The app is also short on haunted places as there are quite a few more I learned that would make this app more worth the current going price of $3 and a "must have" when visiting Savannah looking for haunted places. You could easily find this information on the internet but the convience on your phone does have value even with the shortcomings. Overall the app helped get me walking the historic district in Savannah and provided more enjoyment out of being there.
I purchased as I just had surgery and bouncing around in a hearse or trolley wasnt an option! We walked 1/2 then drove the rest. Would say even without my ailments this was more entertaining than the traditional tours!
